Fondue has great flavour! Tons of tasty sides and accoutrement. Dinner for two will definitely leave leftovers. Great for party of 4!
Ordered this for a Valentine's Day dinner for my husband and I and enjoyed it over two evenings. Great value and was delicious. Highly recommend and will order again for an evening with friends next time. Plenty of food and super easy to put together.

This was an excellent fun meal. It will easily feed four. The cheese fondue was exceptional; smooth and creamy with just a hint of sharpness. It was easy to set up The pickled onions were a brilliant touch.

Allergens: Dairy, Chili, Capsicum, Garlic, Onion, Gluten, Mustard Seed
Make sure you’ve got a Small Heavy Bottom Sauce Pan, a Medium Frying Pan, a Baking Sheet, Parchment Paper, a Large Mixing Bowl, a Box Grater, a Cutting Board, a Chef’s Knife, Tongs, a Wooden Spoon, a Whisk, and Gloves (optional). It’s also ideal to have a few staples on hand like Vegetable Oil. Now, let’s get cooking!
MISE EN PLACE
Be sure to pull your Sausages from the freezer 3-5 hours before cooking, or ideally the night before and let them defrost in the fridge overnight.
Prepare all your charcuterie 10 minutes before you are ready to eat!
Pull the Salumi meats from the fridge 10 minutes before you are ready to eat. Allow the Salumi to come to room temperature before serving, approximately 10 minutes, and place on a separate serving plate.
COOKING & PLATING
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Once the oven is preheated, lay Duck Fat Mini Potatoes on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20minutes, or until a fork pierces through the thickest part of the Potato easily and comes out warm to the touch.
In the meantime, pull your Baguette and Pretzels from the fridge and set aside while you prepare to cook your Sausages.
Grill Method: Sausages are best cooked on the grill for 12-15 minutes over high heat. Set aside.
Pan Fry Method: Add 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil to a medium frying pan over medium heat. Pan fry the Sausages for 15-20 minutes, or until evenly caramelized.
Chef’s Tip: Avoid flipping the Sausages around constantly while cooking. Cook for 5 minutes on each side and then 2-5 minutes on their backs.
Next, warm a medium pot of water on the stove and bring to a boil. Add the closed vacuum sealed bag of Cheese Fondue to the pot of water and warm over medium high heat, approximately 5-7 minutes. Remove the bag from the warm water using tongs to avoid burning yourself. Cut open the top of the bag with a kitchen knife or scissors and transfer to a serving bowl.
Chef’s Tip: The Sauce will thicken as it warms, but if it is too thick, add a few tablespoons of water at a time to loosen it up.
Chef’s Tip: Keep the Fondue warm by serving it in a fondue pot or serve it directly from the pot. You can also warm an ovenproof bowl in the oven while the Cheese Sauce heats up.
When the Duck Fat Mini Potatoes have 3 minutes to go, put your Baguette and Pretzels onto the same baking sheet and let them warm with Potatoes for the last 3-5minutes.
Prepare your Salumi and charcuterie if you have not already completed this step prior to cooking. Cut your Sausages and Baguette into bite sized pieces and place on a platter with the Duck Fat Mini Potatoes and charcuterie.
