How do I join the program?

  • What are the benefits of joining Chefdrop Rewards?
    Apart from earning points to redeem for discounts on Chefdrop orders, there are a number of other benefits depending on your Chefdrop Rewards VIP Tier. You can enjoy access to exclusive member-only offers as well as bonus-points campaigns, free Chefdrop products, and Chefdrop VIP events.
  • How do I earn points?
    There are a number of different ways that Chefdrop Rewards members can earn points. To start off, you can earn points just for creating an account, and subscribing to our email & SMS newsletter communications. Once you’re ready to order, you can earn points every time you order on Chefdrop and your VIP tier will determine how many points you earn per $1 spent. Finally, you can earn points for spending $500 every 30 days, placing two (2) orders every 30 days, celebrating a birthday and for every five (5) friends you refer to Chefdrop.
  • Do points expire?
    Once you’ve earned points, you’ll have 12 months to redeem them for rewards. Your Chefdrop Rewards widget will highlight when your points are set to expire.
  • How can I spend points?
    You can redeem your points for discounts on your orders. For every 1,000 points you’ve earned, you can redeem $1 off. For example, 10,000 points can be redeemed for $10, 20,000 points can be redeemed for $20 and so on.
  • Do my rewards expire?
    Once you’ve redeemed your points for rewards, you’ll have 60 days to use your reward towards your next Chefdrop order.
  • How do I access the rewards?
    To access rewards once you have enough points, you will be prompted to redeem your points for a reward. Once you redeem your points, you will be provided with a unique discount code to use at checkout for your next order. Your available rewards will be accessible via the 'See Rewards' button until you have used the discount code or it has expired.
  • Can I transfer my points to a friend?
    Your points are not transferable and are attached to your customer account.
  • Can I use multiple rewards at once?
    No, you are only able to redeem one reward at a time.
  • How do I receive my Birthday bonus?
    Please ensure your birthday is entered in the Rewards widget, accessible via the icon in the bottom left of the screen. Once you are logged in, click ‘How to Earn Points' and in the applicable section next to Birthday Reward, select 'Enter Date'. On your birthday, you will be automatically given 10,000 points. You can choose to redeem these points or wait until you earn additional points to redeem them for a bigger reward. Birthday points will not be not awarded if a birthday is added within 30 days, in these cases they will be awarded the following year.
  • How often can I earn points for spending $500 or placing two (2) orders?
    You will be eligible to earn up to 6,000 bonus points for spending $500 every 30 days, as well as for placing two (2) orders every 30 days. The 30-day countdown begins after you’ve placed your first order after joining Chefdrop Rewards and will refresh every 30 days moving forward.
  • What Chefdrop Rewards Tier am I in and how do tiers work?
    • You can find out what Chefdrop Rewards tier you are in by clicking the rewards icon in the bottom left of the screen. 
    • Chefdrop Rewards tiers are based on the number of points you have earned in the last three (3) months
    • Chefdrop Member (Tier 1) is for customers who have earned between 1 and 14,999 points, Chefdrop Insider (Tier 2) is for customers who have earned between 15,000 and 49,999 and Chedrop VIP (Tier 3) is for customers who have earned over 50,000 points in the last 3 months.
  • Who do I ask if I have a question about Chefdrop Rewards, my VIP status, points, etc.?

  • Do purchases & point-earning actions prior to joining Chefdrop Rewards count towards my earnings?
    No, you can only earn points on purchases you make, actions you take or goals you hit after joining Chefdrop Rewards, as previous interactions with Chefdrop were eligible for other offers and benefits.
  • When do I get points for referring Friends & Family to Chefdrop?
    A referral will only be marked as completed when an order is placed by the guest you referred. Your referral link gives your friend access to a coupon to immediately save on their first purchase. When they make a purchase using your code, you will be rewarded as well.
